Test Format
The certification is administered via computer at a Prometric or VUE authorized testing centre in a user-friendly format. Directions for using the testing software are displayed on the screen before the test begins. There are also testing "proctors" to help you with anything you don't understand about using the software. Help is also available on-screen. You can move forward in the test, mark a question for answering later, or review a previous question. Usually each question has one correct answer. There may be some that have multiple correct answers. When such a case exists, a message at the bottom of the screen asks you to choose "All that apply".
After the Test
You will receive a final score. You can view the results immediately after finishing the exam - the results show up on the screen. In addition to this, a printed copy of the score report is provided by the testing centre. The results will show whether you passed or failed, and also how you did on each section of the exam and in each area of technology. If you have passed the examination a certificate will be mailed to your address within a few weeks
